Project completion: May 2024
​
Scope: Construction of a new shelter at Walkers Lookout near Thowgla falls on behalf of the Department of Environment, Energy and Climate Action. Timber and the shelter kit were supplied by North-Eden Timber based in Pambula.

Wheelers and Gibsons Hut Reconstruction, Nariel Valley

Project completion: Autumn 2022
​
Scope: Reconstruction of Wheelers and Gibsons Hut near Corryong which were burnt in the 2020 Black Summer Bushfires. Construction was undertaken on behalf of the Department of Environment, Energy and Water and huts were rebuilt as replicas of the orginal buildings. Timber was sourced from Walkers Sawmill - thanks to Border Carpentry for the build.

Lake Street Shared Trail, Merimbula

Project completion: March 2021
​
Scope: Construction of 880 m of shared walking trail along Lake St road edge which included 325 m concrete path and 555 m elevated path constructed of treated pine and FRP decking in Merimbula on the NSW Far South Coast. Steel handrails and balustrades and timber bollards were installed along the path length. Drainage and culverts were installed to manage flow and bank edges were landscaped using lomandra and mulch.

Tathra Headland Project

Project completion: December 2019
​
Scope: Construction of 1km of walking track and two viewing platforms around Tathra Headland on the NSW Far South Coast. The walking track included sections of raised concrete path, FRP decking and block sandstone walls. Lookouts were built using recycled hardwood timber with steel handrails. Drainage and pits were installed to manage flow and site edges were finished using gabion rock and mulch. Coir matting and logs were used to stabilse steep faces.

​
Scope: Construction of four timber bridges and fibreglass decking over coastal streams and swamp lands along a walking track at Eden, NSW. Complexities with this project included the sensitive environment (including threatened ecological communities), working over water and limited site access.
